Money Buddy is the credit union's 24 hour seven day a week banking system located inside the Riverside Regional Medical Center.
With the Money Buddy, you not only have 24 hour access to your accounts, but it has a top of the line security feature, Biometric
fingerprint scanning. In other words, you will not have the typical PIN that all other 24 hour banking systems have, you will have
the security of having your fingerprint identify who you are. With the Money Buddy you can print statements of your account, transfer
money from one account to another (accounts that are with RHSECU), apply for loans, make additional loan payments, and make
check withdrawals from your Electronic Account. All of this any day of the week, any time of day. Money Buddy is located in our office
located in the basement of building G. We have introduced Money Buddy to the Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester. Those of you that live on the Gloucester peninsula can now have easier access to your accounts, without having to travel. The "E" Account Along with the Visa Check Card and Money Buddy is the new "E" Account. The "E" Account is used in conjunction with the Visa Check Card. The "E" stands for Electronic. Everything done on this account is done electronically. That means direct deposit of your payroll check, monthly payment of your mortgage, car payment, car insurance, telephone bill, electric bill, newspaper, and anything else that can be done electronically. Just call the company that you would like to have debited from your account, and they will set you up. How can bill paying be made easier? The Visa Check Card The Visa Check Card is a debit card that takes available money from your "E" Account to pay for purchases. Now you can stop writing those checks at the grocery store and carrying cash to pay for gas. You can do it all with your RHSECU Visa Check Card! If you should need a check, you can go to Money Buddy and write one from your Electronic Account. The check card also acts as an ATM card to withdraw money from your Electronic checking account at any ATM machine. What is Biometric Finger Imagery? We're glad you asked! Unlike the FBI, Money Buddy's finger image scanning system does not keep a picture of your finger print. In additionn, the stored information can not be used to recreate your print in any fashion. The image scanning process used in Money Buddy is nonintrusive. The scanner on Money Buddy converts your finger image 1024 character numeric code using a special algorithim. The whole process takes about 10 seconds. That number and only that number is stored in a local data base along with your account number. Each time you access Money Buddy and your account, the new scan is converted into a number and compared to the stored number. Biometric identification is the most reliable form of identification on the market today. We are really excited about being able to offer this cutting edge techonology to our members; to assure no one can steal your identity at the Money Buddy. After all, there is only one unique you!
